Baltic Head and Neck Oncology Association

About the Baltic Head and Neck Oncology Association and the history of its founding.

In 2018, on 11-14, the President of the Baltic Head and Neck Oncology Association, med. dr. oncologist-radiotherapist Viktoras Rudžianskas, and Vice President, med. dr. ear-nose-throat doctor Evaldas Padervinskis, participated in the 8th congress organized by the European Head and Neck Society in Rome. We are pleased that during this congress, it was decided to grant membership in the European Head and Neck Society to the Baltic Head and Neck Oncology Association, which we represent. Becoming members of this society has opened up opportunities to establish new relationships with hospitals in other countries, learn about their scientific work, go on internships to clinics in other countries, and exchange experience.

Our goals and areas of work

The Baltic Society of Oncology seeks to improve the treatment of patients with head and neck cancer, expand the practice of specialists, and cooperates with various associations.
